RACE DAY INFO: Everything You Need to Watch for with the United Rebel Sprint Series

7/20/2024 Hutchinson, Kan (www.urssracing.com) - It’s Race Day with the United Rebel Sprint Series presented by RacinDirt.Com, and here’s everything you need to know.

Preliminary action kicked off Friday evening at the historic half-mile track in Hutchinson, Kansas, as 17 Rebels checked into the Kansas State Fairgrounds. In both KansasLand Tire Service Heat Races, Jeremy Campbell and Ty Williams were able to grab the win and a $500 bonus as well.

With passing points determining the feature lineup, the drivers who will make the top 8 redraw Saturday evening are Ty Williams, Jake Martens, Jon Freeman, Jeremy Campbell, Jack Potter, Steven Richardson, Brian Herbert and Henry Chambers.

The current points leader Jeremy Huish had issues on the opening laps at SaltCity Racing Friday evening. Going into the Heat race, Huish had issues getting up to speed before the team quickly realized there was a problem with the Mag. Huish will now have to start from 17th in Saturday nights feature event.

Fans were in full attendance Friday evening, as the anticipation for a larger crowd is excepted for Saturday Evening. Tickets are still available online at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/1778/tickets/1406148

Saturday nights races will also be fully broadcast on FloRacing. Tune into FloRacing to catch all the feature action from the SaltCity 100.
