Steven Richardson Leads It All With URSS At Dodge City

Bryan Hulbert – DODGE CITY, Kan. (April 23, 2022) Finally lifting the lid on the 2022 season, the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford took on Dodge City Raceway Park on Saturday night with Steven Richardson taking the season-opening victory.

Leading start to finish, Richardson raced from the pole after topping the night’s Dash with the Liberal, Kan. shoe well in front of the field throughout the 25-lap affair. Rolling under the checkered flag with 1.588-seconds to spare, the first driver chasing the No. 8j to the finish was Jake Martens.

The next event for the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford is Saturday, April 30 at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kan.
