Missouri Double-Header Slated for Friday and Saturday for United Rebel Sprint Series

By URSS PR (Oberlin, KS) -- The Drive to Zero POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing are slated to take on two tracks in Missouri that are both new to the series.

On Friday, June 4 series competitors will head to the Bud Shootout at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri for the first of two $1000 to win races on the weekend. US 36 Raceway recently resurfaced their ?-mile high banked dirt oval. The enhancements made to the track surface have proven for close, action-packed racing in favor of both drivers and fans alike. Mike Sosebee of Sosebee Motorsports has also put up $400 for the winner of a pole dash for the top 6 heat race qualifiers.

Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 7:30PM, racing at 8:00PM. General admission is $25, kids ages 7-12 $8, with 6 and under free.

On Saturday, June 5 the series will head 45 minutes northwest to the ?-mile semi banked oval of Bethany Speedway in Bethany, Missouri for the second night of competition. This race also will pay $1000 to win with $200 to start the A main.

Hot laps are slated for 7PM, racing at 7:30PM. General admission is $25, kids ages 7-12 $8, with 6 and under free.

Jeremy Huish has taken over the lead in Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series point standings. Jordan Knight and Kyler Johnson complete the top-three in standings, with Zach Blurton and Connor Atkinson rounding out the top-five in standings.

The United Rebel Sprint Series partnered with Kansas’ Drive to Zero program to offer a $5,000 pay day to the 2021 Series Champion. The Drive to Zero program was designed with one goal in mind – to reduce fatalities and serious injuries that occur on Kansas highways – targeting child passenger safety, impaired driving, texting, and seat belt violations.
